Individual Sound of Voice

Identification with the sound of one's own voice is a totally natural phenomenon. As a consequence, few if any, have ever seriously investigated the individual characteristics reflected in a voice. Via the two modes of vocal expression, speaking and singing, the whole depth of an individual's thoughts and feelings are revealed.

In the most literal sense of the word "per-son-ality" (from Latin personare - to sound through), every person is a unique individual with an equally unique voice pattern. In the 70's, the Indian scientist and musician, Dr. Vemu Mukunda, discovered that the voice could be looked at as a system that illustrates the human personality structure.
